Question about AI Agent/RAG vs AI

    Hello,

I recently read a Reddit post by Aytekin, talking about the Jotform AI Agent and RAG versus "pure" AI responses. The post was very informative.

I work with a university, and I'm leading an investigation into implementation of an AI agent to be used on the university website. I've been seriously looking at Jotform for this - the UI that your team has developed for the agent builder and knowledge configuration is very nice, and very compatible with the end-users in an education scenario.

Regarding the comments above, about RAG vs "pure" AI - I'm still learning about this, but in the context of the Jotform AI agents, what method does the Jotform AI Agent implementation use?

For example, if we train the knowledge on a specific set of web pages from the university's website (for example, a section of the website that contains data about facutly profiles and publications), and then publish an agent trained on that knowledge - what mode of AI will be used, and how is this controlled/known in the Jotform authoring system?

    Thanks,

    Don Peterkofsky
