when i go to look at the pdf of any of the submissions, there are huge gaps in the page. This makes the submission take up multiple pages when it could fit on one. i have selected the "Hide empty form field" option in the pdf settings, but it still leaves the big spaces in the page.
what do i do to condense the pdf

Hi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It appears that you're downloading the Print Version of the PDF, which is why you're seeing large gaps; these are actually hidden or empty fields. The Hide empty form fields option doesn’t apply to the Print Version. As a workaround, you need to customize your PDF layout by removing any unnecessary fields that have been added and adjusting the height of the fields, and then, when you download the PDF file, you will use the PDF Document that you customized. Here's how to do it:
Customizing PDF layout:
- In Form Builder, click the Downward Arrow icon next to the Jotform logo and click PDF Editor.
- In the PDF Editor page, customize the layout of your PDF by adjusting the height and deleting any unnecessary fields.
Downloading the PDF Document:
- On Jotform Inbox, click on the Three Vertical Dots on the right side of the screen.
- In the dropdown menu, click on Download.
- Now, select the PDF document that you have customized.
Result downloaded PDF screenshot:
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
- In Form Builder, click the Downward Arrow icon next to the Jotform logo and click PDF Editor.
