Send Emails Later Using Autoresponder Email

Can I edit a date in my submission table and still have the auto responder work? For example, I'm testing my emails to see if the send date is working, but my real date isn't for another 60 days out. I'm wondering if I can change the date in the submissions table, just for my test data, and get the email to send sooner.

    Hi Kirsten,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the auto responder emails are triggered based on the original submission data and the conditions set in your form's email settings. Editing the date directly in the submission table will not trigger the auto responder to resend or send earlier emails because the system uses the submission timestamp and configured conditions to determine when to send emails. You can create a test submission with the date set to the desired test date, so the auto responder triggers accordingly, or you can adjust your email conditions temporarily to send emails immediately or based on a different field that you can control for testing purposes. We have a guide on How to Send Emails Later Using Autoresponder Email that you can check out.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
