Square Payment method won’t connect.

    I’m trying to use the Apple/Google Pay (connected via Square) option and it’s not working. When i click the blue connect button from a desktop it just stays on the loading screen, and when i try from the app and mobile safari it loads my jotform form list for some reason.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support regarding the issue with connecting Apple/Google Pay via Square.

    Based on the information, here’s what you can check and try to resolve the problem:

    1. Connection Process: When setting up Square payment integration, after clicking the blue Connect button, it should prompt you to sign in and authorize permissions. If it stays on the loading screen on desktop, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser to see if that helps.

    2. Mobile Behavior: On mobile Safari or the app, if it loads your Jotform form list instead of connecting, it may be a redirect issue. Make sure you are logged into the correct Jotform account and try connecting again.

    3. Square Account Setup: Verify your Square account settings, especially your business location and currency settings. Square locks the currency based on your account country, and you must select a business location in your integration setup. If you have multiple locations, ensure the correct one is selected. Sometimes creating a new location in your Square dashboard and reconnecting helps.

    4. Apple Pay and Google Pay Support: Apple Pay works only on Safari browser and Google Pay on specific browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc. Also, these payment options appear on the payment gateway page, not directly on the form.

    5. Payment Gateway Settings: In your form builder, open the payment element settings by clicking the wand icon. Check that you have selected Live Mode (if accepting real payments) and that your Square account is properly connected.

    If these steps don’t resolve the issue, try disconnecting and reconnecting your Square account in the payment settings.
