Hi,
I'm trying to encrypt my form but when I go to "settings" I do not see the option. It's a form created from a PDF so not sure if that's why, but would love support on how to do this.
Thanks,

Hi Lyly,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The option to encrypt forms is not available for imported PDF forms, because it is not possible to generate PDF reports. Some of the features that are also not available on encrypted forms are listed in this guide.
Meanwhile, you may enable the form password on your Smart PDF Forms, to ensure that only those who have the form password can access the form. Let me show you how:
- In Smart PDF Forms, click on Settings and click on Show More Options.
- Scroll down to Password Protection, and put a check in the box next to it.
- Now, enter the password that you want to use and that’s it. You’re done.
Give it a try, and let us know if you need more help.
