Hello,
I am looking to make a petition, but when the signatures come in, it is 1 letter signed per person.
What I am looking for is 1 letter and multiple signature signatures.
Is there a way to do it?

Hi Kadeem,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To collect multiple signatures on your petition form, you'll need to add a separate signature field for each signer. Here's how the process works:
- The first person completes the form and submits it with their signature.
- After submission, the same form entry can be edited by others to add their signatures one by one.
To do this, you'll need to share the submission edit link, which allows others to access and update the same form entry. The format of the link is:
https://www.jotform.com/edit/<submissionID>
Just replace <submissionID> with the actual ID of the submission. You can find submission IDs in the Submissions page of your form. Here’s a guide on how to find it.
For example:
https://www.jotform.com/edit/5425758650772450374
This link will open the specific submission and allow additional people to add their signatures.
Alternatively, if you prefer, we can help you set it up so that the edit link is automatically sent to each signer's email. Just let us know, and we’ll walk you through the steps.
Let us know if you need any other help.

I tried this, however, it did not work.
Is it possible to set up a call and have someone show me?

Hi Kadeem,
I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Hi Kadeem,
We don’t currently offer live phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread, or you can create a Help Center thread from the Contact Us page. We’ll be happy to help. As for your issue, you can use our Sign Builder instead to collect multiple signatures from multiple signers. You can assign multiple signers to each Signature field on your sign document and set the order of signers on it. Let me show you how to do it:
- In Sign Builder, select the element and click on the Signator icon.
- In the window that opens, click on the Pencil icon to enter the name of the person you want to assign, or click on the Trash Can icon to delete the role.
After that, let's set the order of signers on your sign document:
- Open your document in Sign Builder, and then click on Send in the green navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Then, toggle Signing Order to the On position.
- Click and hold the Six Dots icon, then drag them in the order you want.
- Now, click on Send to Sign, and you're done.
We also have a guide to help you learn How to Use Jotform Sign.
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.
