    Hi Vijay,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To ensure users do not enter more than 12 digits in a response field, you can set a character limit on the field in your form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Gear icon of the field to open the Field Properties window.
    2. Hover your mouse over to the Properties window and click on the Options tab.
    3. Toggle on the Character Limit feature and set the Minimum to 1 and Maximum to 12.

    2. Click on the Options tab again and toggle on the Input Mask Feature.
    3. Then, use the Dash sign # to represent the number.
