    My trash is not emptying after 30 days. I still have docements in there after 30 days

    Hi briancoryell,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Jotform is designed to automatically delete trashed submissions and forms after 30 days. If you’re seeing documents or submissions still in the Trash after that period, it may be due to an occasional delay or system temporary issue. You can manually delete any items by going to the Trash section either in your My Forms page or Tables for submissions.

    Let me show you how to delete the forms permanently:

    1. In My Workspace page, click the Trash folder on the left pane then, select the forms you’d like to delete permanently.
    2. Click the Purge button. Finally, click the Confirm button. That's it.

    My trash is not emptying Screenshot 30 Now, you can easily delete your trashed submissions in Jotform Tables. Let me show you how:

    1. In Jotform Tables, click on the Three Dots icon next to your form title in the tabs.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click on Trashed Entries to open the Trash menu.
    3. Then, in the Trash menu on the right, click on the Checkboxes to select the submissions you want to purge. To select all, click on the Select All button.
    4. Now, click on Delete Forever, and in the warning window, click on the Delete button to confirm.

    My trash is not emptying Screenshot 41 To avoid permanently losing submission data, it’s recommended to Download Form Submissions as Excel, CSV, or PDF. Purging deleted submissions will free up your Submission Storage and Upload Space but won’t affect other limits. You can also check out our guide about Account Usage and Limits for more information.
