Jotform Mobile App> Android: Submission search function not available

It is seemingly impossible to "search" for a submission on an Android device. (There was a search button in the past so not sure what happened.)

Do you have any advice on how or when it will be restored?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Are you using the Jotform Mobile App on your Android Device? If so, I just checked the submission page from the app, and it still have the Search function and it's working. Check this out:

Could you try to log out your account in the app, and log it in again, to see if it'll help with the issue? Additionally, make sure the app is updated to its latest version. You can simply open your Device app store, search for Jotform, and update the app if available.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
