Hi,
Is it possible that decimal points per 1000 is a default setting on number fields? So if someone fills in 10000 - it comes up as 10,000, which is easier to read and easier to read and analyse with the backend data?
Thank you,
Regards

Hi Alison,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's not possible to add a comma separator in the number element. If your concern is for the backend data, I suggest using the Form Calculation widget and add the function comma separate. Let me walk you through this:
- In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the page.
- From the Widgets tab, select Form Calculation.
- Click on the Wand icon of the Form Calculation widget.
- Click on the Function icon and search for Comma Separate.
- Click on Add Element and select the number field.
- Click on Save once done.
Here's the result:
- In Form Builder, click on the Gear icon of the Form Calculation widget.
- From the Advanced tab, toggle Hide Field.
To avoid confusion, you can hide the number field on the tables and just show the form calculation widget Let's do this:
- In Tables, click on the Columns button on the upper right side of the page.
- Uncheck the Number element.
Reach out again if you need any other help.
