Hello, I hope whoever finds this message is doing well.

Reaching out tosee if there is any solution that instead of my customers uploading files and it sending out the jotforms file link it sends out the respectable integration file shareable link. This could either be onedrive or google drive. Or if there is a work around that people have used in the past I would love the insight. Having this ability would make file viewing much easier and allow previews for many different file types.

    Hi Allen,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you’d like your customers to upload files through your form, and instead of receiving Jotform-hosted file links in the email notifications, you’d prefer those links to point to the corresponding shareable links from OneDrive or Google Drive. This would indeed improve file accessibility and preview compatibility across devices.

While Jotform does support direct integration with both Google Drive and OneDrive, allowing uploaded files and submission PDFs to be automatically forwarded to your cloud storage, the email notifications generated by Jotform currently include only the default Jotform file URLs. The platform does not natively replace those URLs with the corresponding cloud-based shareable links.

As a workaround, some users choose to:

    • Manually generate shareable links from Google Drive or OneDrive and send them via a follow-up email.
    • Use third-party automation tools like Zapier or Power Automate to capture new file uploads, upload them to cloud storage, generate a public link, and then send a custom email with that link.

That said, this approach requires extra setup and relies on external platforms.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
