Form submission not showing

    Our form shows that we had a response yesterday - but when we click on it and it goes to the inbox nothing is there?

    Hi Bill,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I checked your form named Healthier You!!!, the last submission was made on April 23rd, 2025. Can you take a screenshot where it shows that there's a new response so we can check on it? That'll help us to understand better what’s going on. Let me show you how to post a screenshot to our Help Center:

    1. On the Help Center page, scroll down to the Your Answer section and click on the Image icon.

    2. Drag and drop your image into the Upload box, or click on it and select your file.

    3. Then, click on the Add button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

    4. To resize it, click on your screenshot and then click on one of the boxes in the corners, and drag it inward.

    5. Once you're finished, click on the Post Answer button at the bottom right of the Your Answer section.

    Hi Bill,

    To help you better and look into this for you, I’ll need access to your account. Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.

    2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.

    3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.

    4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.

    Hi Bill,

    I checked your account and thoroughly reviewed the Submission Tables, Inbox, as well as the Archived and Trashed folders. I also checked our email logs, but it appears there was no submission recorded on May 7, 2025.

    Note that Jotform Analytics tracks user interactions on your form, and it can sometimes record a submission attempt even if the form wasn’t actually completed and submitted. This means that if a user begins filling out the form, perhaps entering information in a few fields, but leaves the page without clicking the Submit button, Jotform may still count that session as a submission attempt in the analytics report.

    But since the user didn’t finalize the submission, no actual entry appears in your Jotform Tables, Inbox, or Email Notifications. This can explain cases where analytics shows a submission, but no data is found in your submissions list.
