I am trying to follow the second AI post and I am not well versed on how to do a validation pattern. After searching I have read the configurable list cannot do validation.
Is this possible entering a text field with a validation pattern that will allow dollar amounts only with 2 decimal places?
If so is can u lead to any tutorials on how to implement this validation pattern?

Hi Steve,
Unfortunately, the validation pattern isn't available on the Configurable List widget right now. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
In the meantime, you can add the Short Text element to your form and set the validation type to currency. You can clone my demo form, or you can do it on your end. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the upper-left part of the screen.
2. Scroll down, drag and drop the Short Text element to your form.
3. Type your preferred label on Short Text field that you've added.
4. Type your description on Short Text field that you've added.
5. Click on the Gear icon on Short Text field.6. Click on the Options tab next to the General tab on the upper-right part of the screen.
7. Click on the Downward Arrow icon on Validation field on the right part of the screen.
8. Click on the Currency option on the Dropdown list on Validation field. That's it. Take a look at the screencast below to see my results:
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
