Date Picker: How to avoid double bookings?

    Hello

    I’m experiencing an issue with our online glamping booking form where multiple guests are able to book the same dates and accommodations, resulting in double bookings. It seems the system is not properly blocking out dates once a reservation is submitted or confirmed.

    Could you please investigate this as a high-priority issue? Let me know if you need access credentials, booking logs, or more information from my end.

    Hi aldodesign,

    After investigating a bit, I found that your form is using a Date Picker which, unfortunately does not have the ability to block out dates after a reservation is made. This is why multiple guests are able to select and submit the same date, as the field doesn’t track or restrict availability based on past submissions.

    To avoid double booking, you can try to use our Date Reservation widget instead. The dates will then be marked as booked and will be unable to be selected by other people filling out your form. Let me show you how to add it to your form:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the screen.
    2. Under the Widgets tab, search for the Date Reservation widget, and click on it or drag and drop it to your form.
    3. Configure the widget if needed and click on the Update Widget button.

    But What if they want to stay multiple days ?

    Hi aldodesign,

    If they want to book for multiple days, you can adjust the Days Limit option in the Date Reservation widget. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Date Reservation widget and select the Wand icon to open the Widget Settings.
    2. On the Widget Settings on the right side of the page, enter the value 0 to remove the limit in the Days Limit option.
    3. Select the Update button.
