How to reuse and edit submitted form data without re-entering everything?

When a completed form is submitted, I would like to be able to have the ability to reuse the exact field contents and change the date or extend the validity period without having to re-enter the same information again in all other fields. How can I edit a form submittal and reissue without losing the original information?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can achieve this by using the Fill Again Action Button to reuse the exact field contents from a submitted form. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Thank You Page.

3. In Show a Thank You Page after submission option, click the Action Buttons.

4. Hover your mouse on the Fill Again and then click on the Create button.

5. Enter the button name.

6. Click on the Prefill button.

7. Enable the Prefill Form Fields.

8. Select entire fields by ticking the All Field checkbox.

9. Click on Save button.

10. Click on Save button once done.

That's it. After submission, users will see a button to fill the form again with the previous data prefilled, which they can then edit as needed. Check out the screencast below to see my result:
