I am working on building a form where individuals select various services they are interested in learning more about. I am then creating a workflow where I want the email to include a few sentences about the services they selected. I am trying to use conditional logic but my workflow is getting extremely complicated so I think I am doing more than I should.
Here's a rough example of what I am trying to do:
What services are you interested in learning more about?
- Library
- Mental Health
- Clubs
- Accommodations
And then I want the follow-up email to be like:
You indicated you want to learn more about:
- Library: Here is the website to the library. You can connect with a librarian...
- Clubs: Join our next monthly meeting to learn more about the clubs...
Thank you!

Hi studentwellness703,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can set up an Autoresponder Email for each of your services. For example, one autoresponder email for Library with the library message, another for Clubs with the clubs message, and so on. Then, create a condition using Change E-mail Recipient so that when a user selects a particular service, the corresponding autoresponder email with the personalized message is sent to them. Here's how to set up an Autoresponder Email:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
- Now, click on Add Email.
- Then, select Autoresponder Email, and customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done.
Now, here's how to set the Email notifications based on the answers of people who fill your form:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on the Settings.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions, and then select Change Email Recipient. (If you already have a condition set, first click on Add Condition, then select Change Email Recipient.)
3. Set up the conditions as you see below and click on Save:
I gave you an example based on the Single Choice element, but you can adjust the condition as needed. Also, to use different emails, you'll need to create separate ones. Check out our Setting Up Autoresponder Emails guide to learn how to create them. You can also check out our guide explaining How to Send Emails Based on a User's Answer.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
