TICKET NUMBER IS WRONG

The generation of a unique ticket identification number is not being sent to my database correctly. I'm on number B26752, and my spreadsheet shows B26753. That is, all the numbers are moving forward by one. Why did this happen? I already registered with this information, and as far as I can see, this error started a week ago. It's from the form: https://form.jotform.com/242274835273662

Check my spreadsheet to see if it matches the PDF I downloaded automatically. That is, the spreadsheet says B26752, and the automatic PDF also has B26752 printed. But when I go to the tables, that receipt is B26753, and when I download it, it also has B26753 printed.

    Hi JotformPeru,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The unique ticket identification number you see in your spreadsheet and the automatically downloaded PDF (B26752) matches, but the number in Jotform Tables and its downloaded PDF shows the next number (B26753). This difference occurs because the submission ID in Jotform Tables is the actual unique submission number assigned to each entry, which increments sequentially with every new submission.

The spreadsheet and the automatic PDF you mentioned might be generated from a different data source or export method that could be slightly out of sync or delayed compared to the live data in Jotform Tables. It’s important to ensure that the data source for your spreadsheet and PDF exports is consistent and updated regularly.

To help resolve this, you can:

    1. Verify the source of your spreadsheet data to confirm it is pulling directly from the latest Jotform Tables data.
    2. Check the timing of your PDF generation to ensure it is created after the submission is fully processed in Jotform Tables.
    3. Enable the Submission ID column in Jotform Tables to track the exact unique IDs assigned to each entry for better consistency.

If the issue started about a week ago, consider any recent changes in your form setup, integrations, or export processes that might affect how submission numbers are recorded or displayed.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
