Previously Added App Elements Disappear After Changing App Layout

Hello, I am in a mess. I clicked on a different App layout and everything disapered. Then tried to go back to the original default layout but no change. Came out and tried reloading the app, but no change.

The form is the same but everything in the app is replaced with one heading that just has the app name. The form is "Coordinators Monthly Report".

I have 25 people who use this app.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your Jotform App and can only see the current form added to it. We're not sure which App elements were previously added to your Jotform App, as it doesn't have a revision history feature. Modifying the App layout will impact the existing layout previously set up in your Jotform App. Can you switch back to the old App layout to check if the previously added App elements reappear?

Thank you for your efforts, I did say before that I did switch back to my old app layout but nothing was there. its now like the image ii sent you. if I delete this app, when i create another, none of the users will be able to access it and that is a whole other problem. How can it all vanish with ONE(1) click?

Hi Robert,

I cloned your App and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. When I added App Elements to it and changed the App Layout multiple times, the added elements weren't deleted. Check out the screencast below to see my results:

Since we're unable to replicate the issue, I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

Thank you, I am sorry, Its either that you dont understand what happened or i dont understand what you are doing, which is more likely. either that of I am missing something.

For one, you seem to be seeing the App in its origional state, then you cloned that and did whatever. But I am NOT seeing the origional App anymore. So I am very confused. I really apologize for not being able to explain it properly.

Also, all this started when I was trying to fix that in App preview, all my headings and questions were not centered anymore and were cut off on the right side. this was that way viweing on my phone also. Anyhow, thank you.

Since this issue is already escalated to our Developers Team to further investigate the issue. Although we don’t have a solution yet, rest assured, we’ll keep working on this until it's resolved. We’ll get back to you as soon as we have an update.
