Auto-suggest from previous entries show up when filling out form

In the email section and phone number, I want to turn off auto-suggestions of texts from the previous entries. How can i do that?
The problem i am facing is that, many participants tend to have the same name/first name. After starting to write their names in the email field or even in the name field, if the text pop-up shows a suggestion of a similar name, some of them click over it and set it as their entered input, even if their email IDs/Names aren't the same. I am trying to prevent that by turning off auto-suggestions.

    Do you have any solution?

    Hi btfv37,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can try checking your form's Allow Browser Autocomplete feature to see if it's set to Yes. If it does, then you need to change it to No, so it won't complete or autofill any fields in your form. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar on top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the Form Settings page, click on Show More Options at the bottom of the page.
    3. Scroll down and click on the dropdown for Allow Browser Autocomplete and make sure it's set to No. Changes are saved automatically.

One is Form Prefill, which is a set of data used to automatically fill out form fields. Another one is by the use of Integrations, which is almost the same as Form Prefill, but is set up differently based on the app integrated in it, and how it functions as a whole. Or if they're logged into the Jotform Mobile app and accessed a form from there. This can cause our system to use any available data present in the logged account to be used as autofill in a form, whenever possible, to make it easier for them to complete a form without issues. Unfortunately, it can't also be prevented from happen.

Outside Jotform, auto-suggest features of a device can also affect this. Another thing is the browser's own autocomplete settings, which is set differently and can't be bypassed using our platform. Any other autofill or autocomplete apps or software programs can also do this. These examples unfortunately can't be prevented nor controlled on our end, so you or the form users may need to check on their end individually for those things, to make sure the issue won't happen to them.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
