Date field: Allow only Past and Current

Your Date Picker properties lets us choose either

    Past

    Future

There is no reference to current date!

I want to allow past or current, but not future. How do I do that?

Please suggest to your product team that they fix this ambiguity.

    Thanks

    Hi rtolmach,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked you form and it seems that Future is ticked on the Let users select dates in the past or future limits. See screenshot below:

Please suggest to your product team that they have three checkboxes instead of two:

    Past, Today, and Current

Or explain that Past includes today.

    thx

    Hi rtolmach,

The Past option in the Date Picker element includes the current date as well. If you want to allow users to select past dates and today’s date but not future dates, you just need to enable the Past option and make sure the Future option is unchecked. There is no separate checkbox for Today as it is already considered part of Past dates in the current setup.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you.
