hi
is there any way to resend or restart a flow?
when our recipients inadvertently delete or otherwise cannot find their approval email, it would be super helpful to be able to resend from inside the workflow, so we are able to track that they need that extra support (eg. not being particularly tech savvy).

Hi ElevateTheArts,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To resend the approval email, you need to restart the workflow. Let me show you how:
- In your Jotform Inbox, select the submission you want to restart the workflow.
- Click the 3 dot vertical line at the upper right part of the page and select Restart flow.
- In the pop-up, click on the Restart Flow button.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi ElevateTheArts,
The Restart Workflow option isn’t showing because the submission you selected is not currently in progress. As a workaround, you can enable the Restart Workflow On Submission Edit setting. Once enabled, editing and resubmitting a specific entry will automatically restart the approval process for that submission. Note that this applies per submission and will restart the entire workflow from the beginning, not just resend the approval email. Let me walk you through the steps:
1. Open the workflow you want to work on, and in Workflow Builder, click on Settings in the green navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. In the Workflow Settings page, set the Restart Workflow on Submission edit to Enabled.
After enabling the Restart Workflow on Submission Edit setting, let's restart the workflow by editing a specific entry and submitting it again, either right after making changes or sometime afterward.
3. In Workflow Builder, click on the App Picker menu at the top of the page next to the Jotform logo.
4. Select Inbox in the window that opens up, and that’ll redirect you to your Inbox.
This time, let's restart the workflow in one of your existing submissions.
5. In Jotform Inbox, select one of your approved existing submissions.
6. On the right side of the page, click on the Three Dots icon and select Edit.
It will open the selected submission in edit mode, and from there, let's resubmit it to restart the workflow.
7. Click the Submit button to resubmit the entry and trigger the restart of the approval workflow process for that specific submission.
Again, let me gently remind you that this will not simply resend the approval email, but it will restart the entire approval workflow process for the specific submission.
Reach out again if you have any other questions.
