Hello, how can we integrate Chime. We have a student application on JotForm that we are applying a $25 fee to.

    Hi Kezia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can create a new lead in Chime from new submissions using the Zapier's template. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Integrations in the menu on the left side of the page.
    3. Then, search for Chime. Click on the first Zapier template by clicking on the User this Zap button.
    4. Configure your Zap by logging into your Zapier account. That's it.

My form is encrypted to keep the personal information of my students safe. How can I work around that?

    Hi Kezia,

Since the form encryption is very strong and end-to-end encrypted, even we can't access your data. When you enable the encryption on your form, the integration become unavailable, since you'll need to use an Access Code to decrypt the encrypted submission data. So, you'll need to turn off the encryption on your form. There is no any workaround for this. Keep in mind that, if you've lost the code, then you can consider as data loss to forgotten password.

Let us know if you need any other help.

Okay, will my form still be safe even if it isn't encrypted?

Okay I still need help. I followed the demo, but is this taking me to the Chime payment system? I'm not "creating leads" in Chime. I want the feature of paying through Chime to be on my application.

    Hi Kezia,

I checked your live form, and I can confirm there is no active Zapier integration currently set up. To clarify, Jotform does not support Chime as a direct payment gateway. The Zapier integration only allows you to create leads or sync data into Chime CRM, not process payments.

Unfortunately, Chime does not offer a public API or gateway that allows for direct payment integration with Jotform at this time. If you're collecting a $25 application fee, you’ll need to use one of the supported payment processors on Jotform, such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, or Authorize.Net.

These are fully secure and PCI-compliant, and the collected payment can still be used alongside your form data for your enrollment process.

Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Okay thank you, we will consider one of those payment options. Where do the funds collect once the student pays? Will that be operated out of Jotform, or will we have to create a whole other account with one of these options?

    Hi Kezia,

When a student pays through payment options like Stripe, PayPal, Square, or Authorize.Net integrated into your Jotform, the funds do not collect or operate through Jotform itself. Instead, the payments are processed directly by the payment gateway you choose, and the funds are deposited into your account with that payment processor.

This means you will need to have or create an account with the payment processor you select. Jotform securely sends the payment data to the chosen gateway, but it does not store or handle the payment funds. Each payment gateway is PCI-compliant and handles the transactions independently, so your funds and payment information remain secure.

Let us know if you have any other questions.
