Chuck PetersonAsked on April 17, 2025 at 1:37 PMI have tried multiple troubleshooting steps including deleting applications, emptying trash, clearing cache, logging out and back in, toggling support access, and using different browsers, but the over limit warning persists. Additionally, I am unable to view my response in a support thread because it says it's private. I want to resolve these issues quickly.

I've tried three different browsers with the same results. What I have done:
- Downloaded, then deleted 30+ applications and their attachments
- Emptied the trash
- Cleared the cache
- Logged out, then back in again
- Toggled the support access to "on"
- Checked on Firefox, Edge, and Chrome
I don't know of anything else I can do.

Hi Chuck,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. When I checked one of your forms, it did not show an overlimit message. Check out the screenshot below:
I recalculated your monthly form usage and cleared your form cache as a precaution. Can you confirm if you are still getting the same issue with your form?
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

The notice still shows up but I was able to fill out a form and submit it successfully. We're a very small non-profit. We provide a one week camp for foster children. We can't afford the upgrade but appreciate the site and what it does for us.

Hi Chuck,
Can you share which form does the notice shows up? I checked the account and account limits are still within the limits of the plan. When you hit a monthly limit, you can either wait for the counter to reset on the first day of the limit reset period, or upgrade your account to increase your limits. Each account has its own reset date for the monthly account limits. Some account resets on the day the account was created. You can view the start date of your next limit reset period under the Usage tab of your Account page. Let me show you how:
1. On your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image on the top-right of the page.
2. Click Settings from the menu.
3. Go to the Usage tab on the left-hand side of the page.
4. You will see under Monthly Usage section your monthly limit resets.
You can also check our guide in understanding account usage and limits. Do note that when you reached the limit for your file uploads, you will need to delete the submissions with file uploads to free up space. Deleted submissions are soft deleted and will remain in the system for 30 days in case you will need to restore them. However, if you need to permanently delete submissions right away, then you will to purge them from the trashed entries section of the Jotform Table. Let me show you how:
1. On your Submissions Table, put checks in the boxes next to the submissions with file attachments.
2. Click on Delete on the top-right side of the page.
3. Click on Move to Trash.
4. Next, click on the Three Dots icon on the right side of the tab name, and then
5. Click on Trashed Entries from the dropdown menu.
6. Now, click on Select All, and then click on Delete Forever.
7. Then, in the Confirmation window that pops up, click on Delete. That's it.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I've done all that and checked the usage tab. I do use all 5 allowed forms but everything else is well under the limit. My reset date is May 1.
I still get the "You have reached form limit" notification and maybe that's just for 5 out of 5 allowed forms being used. I was able to submit a form successfully so I think it's good.

Hi Chuck,
It's normal to see that warning message when you've reached the limit for the number of active forms. Since you're on the Starter plan, you can have up to 5 active forms at a time. If you'd like to create more forms, you can either upgrade your plan or delete an existing form to free up space.
Also, since you're able to submit the form without any issues, that means the form is still active and functioning properly despite the warning about form limits. You can check out our guide about Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits.
Let us know if you have any other questions.
