Hi Maureen,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you're looking to automatically populate the top row of your meal count table with the dates for each day of the week, based on the selected Week Start Date. While that’s a great idea, the Input Table element doesn’t currently support dynamically inserting dates into column headers or cells from another field.
Just to clarify, are you hoping to show the daily dates just as a visual guide for each weekday column, or do you need those exact dates to be included in the submitted data for reporting?
After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Hi Maureen,
You can achieve your goal by adding and setting up a condition for all the days of the week. I'll walk you through setting that up:
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
3. Now, click on + Add Condition, then select Update/Calculate Field.
You can copy the condition below:
Also, I can see that the Input Type for your Input Table is currently set to Numeric Textbox. For the solution to work, I suggest changing the Input Type to Textbox. It's easy to do, let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, select the Input Table element you want to edit.
- Now, click the Gear icon to access its properties.
- Next, navigate to the Fields tab, under the Input Type section, select Textbox.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
