Hi Sinan,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. What you’re experiencing is expected behavior. When a product is selected and a sub-product is generated from one of the options, the quantity for that item initially remains at 0. Since the quantity field cannot be left blank or set to 0, the system prompts an error to ensure that a valid quantity is entered. To resolve this, users will need to select a valid option and enter a quantity before proceeding.

Dear Sheena ,
Thanks for your response, however Imagine you re a customer and you only want to order a certain amount of the different sizes written in the options and doesn't want to order all size options so the ones which are not requested should remain 0 and not give any errors.
Basically what we want is to be able to leave some or all quantity fields blank or 0.
Thanks

Hi Sinan,
I understand that your goal is to allow users to select only the product variants they want, without being required to enter a quantity for every option. Currently, in the Product List field with sub-products, the form expects a non-zero quantity when a sub-product option is selected. It’s not necessary to select all sizes, but once a product is selected, at least one size must have a quantity greater than zero. Check out the screencast below for example:

Thank you Cristy. You re completely right but I would prefer to have error sign appear when ı click to submit, not before the selection ends. But if we do not have any option there's nothing to do.
Thanks

Hi Sinan,
The Product List field validates sub-product selections in real-time, and if none of the sub-product options is selected, it immediately shows the error even before form submission. Unfortunately, there’s no native way to delay that validation until the Submit button is clicked.
