I’m trying to set up a workflow that automatically forwards signed documents from Jotform Sign Builder to an external email address — one that’s different from the email connected to my Jotform account.
I’m experimenting with the Workflow Builder, but I’m running into a few issues. The first step seems to require me to create some kind of form, and I don’t understand why the workflow can’t just start with my existing Sign document. I was able to import the document from Sign Builder, but it’s asking me to specify a signer name and email address. Since this waiver is meant for general customer use, I want to keep it generic — not tied to any specific person.
Once the document is signed, my goal is for it to automatically be forwarded to a secondary email address.
Can you help clarify how I should set this up? I’m a bit confused about how to make the workflow function the way I need it to.

Hi Zach,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's currently not possible to make a Sign Document the starting point of a Workflow. Based on your description, it looks like you can achieve what you want to do without using the Workflow features. I tried opening your Sign Document, but I can't access it as it requires for a login. For us to assist you accordingly on this, can you tell us if you created your Sign Document using your own PDF, or you started from scratch within Jotform?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi Zach,
Can you share with us the Word document? Also since you are using a sign document and is pointing to multiple signers in the document then what you can do is to create a signable document.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need help.
