Jotform App: Add an Element for Date Selection

Need help in creating an e-com app with date selection

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Date Picker element, or elements similar to it, is not yet available in Jotform Apps. A workaround for this is to build a form with the My Products field and a Date Picker field in it, and embed the form into your app. You can integrate the form with one of the 40+ Payment Gateways that Jotform provides. Let me show you how to create a form and set up a Payment Integration:

1. On your My Forms page, click on Create Form, and then select Start From Scratch.
2. Now, select the Classic Form layout, and your form will be created.

Now, let me show you how to add elements and set up a payment integration:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the top-left side of the page.
2. Add the fields that you want to have on your form, and then click on the Payments tab.
3. Click on a Payment Gateway, and then click on Connect in the menu on the right side of the screen.
4. Once you connect your account in the window that opens, you'll be ready to collect payments through your form.

Then, you can now add the Date Picker element to your form. Let's do it:

1. While in Form Builder, click on Add Element in the upper-left corner of the page.
2. Under the Basic tab, select Date Picker.

Lastly, here's how you can embed the form in your app:

1. In App Builder, click on Add Element in the upper-left corner of the page, and select Form under the Basic tab.
2. On the modal, select the form to embed, and click on Add Forms at the bottom.
3. If you want to show the whole form on the app, click on the Form element's Gear icon.
4. Under the General tab in the Form Properties panel, toggle Show Form to On.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
