Square Integration: Option to send custom data

    Hi,

    Just wondering if there is any update on a timeline when we can send additional information to Square when a purchase is made. It makes it extremely difficult in square to reconcile purchases to different forms.

    Hi mooselakegospelcamp,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I completely understand how important this feature is for your use case. At the moment, there's no update on its implementation, but I’ll go ahead and add it to our list of requests. As soon as there’s any news, we’ll make sure to circle back to this thread and keep you in the loop.

    In the meantime, you can make use of the data that's available in Square in identifying the submission. By default, submission IDs are added to the transaction as in this example below:

    You can simply add the submission ID to the link below to quickly identify which form the payment or submission came from:

    https://www.jotform.com/edit/{Submission_ID}

    This will open the submission in edit mode. While you won't be able to edit submissions with payment integration, it's a quick and easy way to see which form the payment was associated with.
