Even after I unlock the column, I can't edit the submission. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but I have googled and read other support threads and can't seem to find the answer.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form settings and I can see that you should be able to edit your submissions. Can you take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us? We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.
