Account Settings: Change email address.

    I'm trying to change the email that 'owns' the account. I am getting an error that that email is already associated to another JotForm account.

    That is correct, it was tied to a free account. That user went in and deleted the account...however, we are still receiving the error. It has been 24 hours. Not sure if we need to wait longer, or if something didn't disconnect correctly.

    Looking for assistance.

    Hi CINCH_CCM,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Emails from deleted accounts stay in our system for 30 days after deletion. This is to give users time to reactivate their account in case it was deleted by mistake. What you can do is change the email address of that deleted account to something else, which will free up the email you want to use on this account.

    If you’d like to proceed with this solution, we can reactivate the deleted account so you can change the email. We can double-check everything if you share the email address you’re trying to use, and let us know if you’d like to move forward.
