Drag-and-Drop Upload widget is not working on mobile

Hello,

We currently use the Take Photo widget on our form. Unfortunately, users are not able to upload pictures from their libraries on their mobile devices - they receive the message "Upload Error".

Could you kindly advise on how to resolve the issue, or an alternative widget?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Is the error showing after taking the photo, or after submitting the form? I did test your form on my Android device, and the widget is working as expected. It allowed me to successfully take photo. I also cloned your form, and it works when submitting the form.

Could you tell us more details about the device and browser you're using, so we can use the same when testing from our end? Additionally, would you allow us make a test submission directly to your form, so we can further inspect it?

Thank you for your prompt response.

The issue is not with taking a photo - that works fine. However, we are unable to upload photos from our mobile libraries. The error message appears after submitting the form.

Can you share a screenshot of the error message you received when you submitted the form? It would also be best if you could share with us a screen recording of the issue. You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

When I cloned and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results:

Can you share with us more details on you're able to replicate the issue? For example, what's the link to the app it is being submitted from? If it's being submitted from the Jotform Mobile Forms app, can you try updating your Mobile app to the latest version through Play Store or the App Store and try it again? Also, sharing with us the make and model of the device you're using can allow us to replicate the issue and find a solution.

Thank you for your answer.

As mentioned in the above thread, the issue doesn’t occur when I select “prendre une photo” (take a picture). The error occurs when I select “ajouter une image” (add/upload a photo).

This issue persists on the most up-to-date Jotform mobile app (IOS and Android), as well as when I send the form link to laptops.

Thanks for the clarification. I tested it again on my mobile Android device, using the Drag-and-Drop Upload widget this time, and had the same issue, so I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

In the meantime, I've tested the form on my desktop as well, and it seems to be working correctly. Check out the screencast below for my result:
