Ability to remove the background color of dropdown field values in email notifications

When I submit my form... the email that comes through regarding the submittion puts the words in "bubbles". Please see the circled items below.

I do not want the selected words coming through looking like bubbles. I want them to be normal font that matches the rest of the email. How can I accomplish this?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. Unfortunately, it’s not yet possible to remove the background color of dropdown fields in your Email Notification. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
