Good Afternoon,
I wanted to associate this field: My graduate will be participating in the following events:
I setup a few options and also have setup precalculated values as well. How can I get whatever option is selected to calculate the total in the Payment field Senior Week Total Cost?
Thanks,
Ralph E. White Jr.

Hi Ralph,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We can get the Total of the Multiple Choice field value using the Form Calculation widget. And then, we will pass the Form Calculation widget data to Payment field total. Let me guide you on how to do that:
- In the Form Builder, open the Form Elements sidebar and select the Widgets tab.
- Search for the Form Calculation widget and add it to your form.
- Select the widget field and click on Wand icon.
- Click on Add field button.
- Select the Multiple Choice field.
- Click on Save button.
After that, please check the guide on how to pass the Form Calculation widget data to the Payment Total field.
- In the Form Builder, select the Payment field and click on the Payment Properties icon.
- Change the Payment Type to User Defined Amount option.
- Click on Save button or close the Payment Properties to save automatically.
You can also update the Form Calculation widget and set it to the Read-only option. In this way, there's no number typing accident added to the Form Calculation widget.
Please check and test my cloned form before applying this to your main form. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Good Morning,
Thanks so much for this, however, my payment settings widget that I am using is the Stripe Checkout. Can you do the demo using this widget?
Thanks,
Ralph E. White Jr.

Hi ralphwhitejr,
Sure, here's how to do that when using the Stripe Checkout integration:
- In Form Builder click on the Products List element, then click on the Wand icon.
- In the window that opens, click on the Gear icon in the top-right corner, then set the Payment Type to User Defined Amount.
- Select the calculation you created under Get Price From.
- Finally, connect your Stripe account then click on Continue button in the bottom-right corner to save.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
