Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element

    Hello,

I have a few questions before purchasing Jotform:

Is there a way to add a form you created to a workflow?

Is there a way that one of the bubbles can branch off to new information based on which option you choose? Can you make a bubble that has different options to choose from?

    Hi Anyssa,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, it's possible to add a form in the Workflow. Doing it will automatically connect the form in your flow, depending on the process that you have set up. Here's how:

    1. In the Workflow Builder of a form, you can get the Form element from the Workflow Elements.
    2. Click the Gear icon, and select a form from the Dropdown.
    3. Set the Assignee based on the Email field of the main form, then click Save.

    4. Connect the Form element to the flow.

Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element Image 2 Screenshot 51 Split Branches and Conditional Branches are also available in the flow, where you can set conditions and a different flow will be followed. See following example of a Conditional Branch:

    1. Add the Conditional Branch from the Workflow Elements.
    2. Set a condition by clicking the Gear icon of the Branch.
    3. Connect it to the flow, and select the Outcome for the branch.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thank you for this information, but when I go to the form complete settings option and click the dropdown for Forms its empty. I have created forms already and it still wont let me add them. Do I have to pay for the upgraded version to do this or should this be something that I should be able to do and see.

    Thank you

    Hi Anyssa,

Can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi Anyssa,

Is the Workflow you're referring to associated with this form 250923404438152? If so, I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything worked the way it should. Check out the screencast below to see my results: Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element Image 1 Screenshot 40

Adding multiple forms to your Workflow can be done with any of the plans (Starter, Bronze, Silver, and Gold). Can you try clearing your browser caches or using a different browser or an Incognito Window to see if the issue persists? If you're still having difficulties with this, Can you give us access to your account so that we can check this further? Don't worry, you can disable that again after we're done checking things out. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In the upper-right corner of your My Forms page, click on your Avatar/Profile Image icon.

    2. In the small window that opens, click on Settings.

Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element Image 2 Screenshot 51

    3. In the panel on the left, click on the Security tab.

    4. Then, on the bottom-right side of the page, toggle Jotform Support Access to the On position.

After we hear back from you, we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how to help.

Thank you, I did go ahead and click the Jotform Support access tab so that I could get some assistance since I still don't have the option to see any form dropdowns on my end still.

    Thank you!

    Hi Anyssa,

I've checked out the Workflow for the Assign Job Number form. I can confirm that you will be able to select the other forms in your workflow. Do note that in the Workflow; you can't select the same form multiple times. It can be selected once only. If the other form is already connected with the Workflow, then you won't be able to see that form in your list as well. It is to avoid the conflict in your workflow, but you can select the other available forms in your account. Let me share the screenshot below:

Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element Image 1 Screenshot 20I've cleared your form caches; your forms are now refreshed. Can you try opening your workflow in the Google Chrome's incognito mode and then select the form?

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Good afternoon,

This feature is still not working for me and when I add a form to my workflow and go to the drop down menu button it is still showing no forms available. I want to be able to know that I can do this before I purchase a package for our company. If I can't get this to work I may need to try and find another company to go with.

    Thank you

    Hi Anyssa,

I've cleared your form caches; your forms are now refreshed. Can you delete the existing Form element and then add it back? Let me show you how:

    1. On your Workflow Builder, under the Build section, click on the Form element.
    2. Choose Red trash icon Delete option.
    3. Click on the Add Element + Choose Form element. That's it.

Workflows: Unable to select forms in the Form element Image 1 Screenshot 20 You can apply this method for other two form elements on your workflow. If the issue persists, then can we check your Workflow? Do note that, you can't choose same form again in the workflow again. For example, if you have used the Form name A, once, then you can't use the Form A again. In case, if your form A has its own Workflow, then you can't also use that form as well.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
