Missing a column of data from previous entries after removing a drop down selection from current form. I removed the selection for t shirt size for late entries and now that previous data column is gone. Is there anyway to recover this?

Hi Jacob,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you're missing a column of data from previous entries after removing a dropdown selection from your form and you're looking for a way to recover it. Unfortunately, once a field is deleted from a form, its associated data is permanently removed from the system. Since you've received new submissions after removing the Tshirt Size dropdown, the column holding that data is no longer available, and it cannot be restored through revision history or any other method. This ensures data privacy and integrity by preventing access to information that is no longer part of the form structure.
When you try to delete a field, there is a warning message to let you know that all associated field data will also be deleted. Check out the screenshot below:
To prevent this issue in the future, you can hide the field using the Disable or Hide settings in Field Properties so data remains intact instead of deleting a field. You can also regularly export submission data to Excel or PDF to have a backup.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
