Hi there,
I am creating a voting form and want to include the 'Nominator's' data in the form sent to the 'Seconder.'
I'm unsure which tag to use to link the data in the Seconder email.
Here is the Jotform link https://form.jotform.com/250858713906061
Can you help please?
Regards,
Diana

Hi Diana,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Note that data is not hosted by Autoresponder Emails, but by the form. We can insert the values of the NOMINATOR NAME: and NOMINATOR EMAIL: fields to the second autoresponder emails by using the Form Field button. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab on the orange navigational bar at the top.
- Next, click on Emails on the left side panel.
- Hover your mouse over your Seconder Signature Autoresponder Email, and click on the Pen icon over it.
- In the Email Content box, click on the Form Field button and select Nominator Name and Email to add their values to your email content.
- Click on the Save button and that's it.
If that doesn't quite solve what you're trying to do, can you explain a bit more about the flow you're trying to create so we can provide you with the relevant solution? Sharing with us an example of how your flow would work will help us understand and help you better.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

Hi there,
The workflow I'm trying to create is:
- The Nominator completes and submits the form, and proposes the Seconder;
- The Seconder receives an email with the form link, to complete 'Seconder to Complete' section (only);
- When the Seconder opens the form, the Nominators details are already pre-filled and the Seconder only has to complete their details, sign and submit the form.
I hope this makes sense.
Regards,
Diana

Hi Diana,
To achieve this, you can add a hidden field which will only display if it's access using the edit link, so the seconder can only see that field, then set up the Change Email Recipient condition, which lets you select which email and recipient will be used based on the conditions you set. I'll show you how to do that:
First, let’s hide the fields for your seconder:
- In your Form Builder, select all the fields under the second section.
- Then, right-click on any of the selected fields and click Hide.
- In your Form Builder, click on the Add Element button from the left part of your screen.
- Under Widgets, look for Get Form Page URL and drag it to your form.
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
2. Click on Conditions on the left of the page.
3. Now, click on Add a New Condition and then click on Show/Hide Field.
4. Set the conditions like you see below:
In your Seconder Autoresponder email, you can add a message with a link that allows the recipient to edit their submission and fill out their fields. Here’s how:
- In your Email Content, highlight the text you want to hyperlink with the edit link.
- Click the chain icon in the toolbar and paste the edit link ID in the URL field.
- Click OK.
- Under the Advanced tab, make sure When a submission is received is selected for the Send Email Automatically option. Click Save.
1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
2. In the menu that opens on the left side of the page, click on Conditions.
3. Under the New Condition section, click on Change Email Recipient.
4. Set up the conditions as you see below and click on Save:
You can either manually enter the desired email address or use the Unique Name of the email field you created, so the form filler’s email address is captured automatically.
