    Hello,

On our Ahrens Group Capex Requests Form on page 2 we have a section called Hardware/Materials.

Our users enter in the quantity, description and the cost of the items, and they have the option to add more rows for extra items.

How can I set it so that the 'Cost' field adds up together and puts the total amount in the 'Total Purchase (excl. GST)' field, this is also on page 2.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi jotforms67,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and it seems you're using the configurable list widget for your hardware fields. It is possible to get the value of the configurable list widget but it would get all the column value. It is not possible to get only the the cost column value. A work around would be to use the input table and use the form calculation widget to get the value to the other field. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form builder, add your Input Table.

    2. Then, select your Form Calculation widget and click on the Wand Icon to open Widget Settings.

    3. Then in Form Calculation Widget, click on Add Field and select your input table column cost.
    4. Click on the Plus Icon to add the values.

Give it a try and let us know if this works for you.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is there another way, as in the report the formatting looks average -

    Hi jotforms67,

It seems you are looking to have the data in the Input table separated. Unfortunately, there's no option to split the data into columns or rows at the moment. However, you can do that after downloading the submission to an Excel spreadsheet. Here are a few workarounds suggested by my colleagues.

The method suggested by my colleague is the best in your use case, as it is not possible to perform calculations on the widgets. If this is not what you are looking for, let us know and we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
