I am creating a jotform used to register artist entries into an upcoming gallery exhibit. The entry fees are based on whether or not the artist is a member of the gallery association or not (i.e. member fee is lower than non-member fee.).
I have already created a membership entry form that captures name, email, etc. and membership payment date. Memberships are renewable every year . I sucessfully added a column to the membership table to logically determine if the membership date is less than one year ago.
Assuming email address is a key/unique record index, I would like to have the artist enter their email address in the exhibit registration form, lookup the email address in the membership table, if member-in-good-standing is true, chare the member fee else charge the nonmember fee.
Sorry to ramble but I'm hoping this is possible using jotform.
Is this possible and if so, any insight into accomplishing would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Webmaster_BAA,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, it's not possible to create a validation that gets data directly from your tables in real time. Instead, you can download your submissionas Excel, and then use it with Spreadsheet to Form widget. This widget will allow you to populate form fields upon entering a matching access code.
For example, if the email address entered by the user matches an entry, it will populate fields in your form, including a hidden date field, that can be used or validation with conditions. Let me show you how to use it:
1. Create a spreadsheet with your data structured like you see below. Make sure that the column names in the spreadsheet match the field names on the form, and include a unique column, like an ID, so the data can be distinguished.
2. In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
3. Click on the Widgets tab, search for the Spreadsheet to Form widget and add it to your form.
4. In the menu on the right side of the page, upload your data file. (You can simply drag & drop your excel file to the Upload File area.)
5. Then, click on the Downward Arrow icon in the Access Code Column option and select the unique column.
6. You can also customize texts used in the widget. After you complete everything, click on the Update Widget button at the bottom right of the menu.
