jotform_user843_jotform_user915Asked on April 1, 2025 at 1:34 PM
I'm trying to map the responses of a form to some Airtable columns, but some of them generate conflicts. For example, this is the image in which a PDF is uploaded and I want it to be saved in Airtable as well. It also happens to me with other responses, such as the one from the website, which doesn't let me select the email column that I have in Airtable. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi jotform_user843_jotform_user915,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. In your first screenshot, it appears that you're trying to match your Airtable's Website Address column to your Form's Email field, which is why it grays out the Email field on the dropdown. As for your second screenshot, are you trying to match the Attachment column of your Airtable to the generated PDF document of the form submission? If so, unfortunately, we don't have an option to match the generated PDF document to the Attachment column of your Airtable. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Hi! thanks for the response
what i want is the PDF that the client enters in the form to be mapped to a column in Airtable and be able to view it from there. Is this possible? -

Hi jotform_user843_jotform_user915,
Yes, you can collect PDF documents using the File Upload widget and then match that File Upload widget to your Airtable's Attachment column. Let me show you how to do it:
1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the upper left side of the page.
2. Drag and drop File Upload widget from the left side of the page to your form.
Now, let's match that File Upload widget to your Airtable's Attachment column:
1. In Airtable Integration settings, match your Airtable's Attachment column to your File Upload widget.
2. Click on Save on the lower part of the page. That's it. Let us know if you have any other questions.

About your question, yes, you can map hidden fields and send data to Airtable provided that the field type matches.
