I use the form to get reservations for our al you can eat brunch buffet, I'm not sure if I'm using it well so I wanted some advice on how to make full use of your product and also be able to charge no shows or last minute cancelations by pre authorizing cards at reservation

Hi Nord,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We actually have several features that can help you to streamline your process even further. I've briefly noted them here for you to take a look at:
1 . Enable Payment Authorization: You can set up payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal on your form to pre-authorize credit cards. This means you can reserve a specific amount at the time of booking without charging it immediately, allowing you to charge later if needed.
2 . Conditional Logic for Dynamic Reservation Management: Use conditional logic to create a seamless reservation experience. For instance, you can show or hide fields conditionally based on party size or special requests to streamline user input.
3 . Automated Emails: Set up autoresponders with reservation details, cancellation policies, and reminders to reduce the risk of no-shows. You can also include the pre-authorization terms in these emails for clarity.
4 . Form Analytics: Use Jotform's analytics tools to track reservations and identify patterns (e.g., high cancellation times or peak booking periods). This data could help optimize your operations.
5 . Appointment Slot Widget: Add this widget to limit the number of reservations per time slot or table. This ensures your buffet is efficiently managed.
