I currently use trello to house files for different clients etc. I would LOVE to transfer everything to jotform and have one login. I did figure out how to move my trello board to jotform boards. That’s great! BUT I can’t hold any files on my jotform boards. Is this coming soon?

Hi lbtrucks,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.

Hi lbrtrucks,
Thank you for using Jotform Boards and sharing your feedback.
You can upload files on tasks by adding a custom field. Here is how to do it:
- Go to Task Fields menu in Board Settings on the right side of the page.
- Click on Add a Field menu
- Select Attachment & Image
- Enter a name and click on Save
- Open any task details and upload your file in the field
Let us know if this doesn't answer your needs or if you have any other questions.

Yes! This is great! Thank you! Did they just add this or was it here all along?

That’s amazing! We are going to switch from Trello to Jotform. Just curious with our plan...will we have ample room? Do the attachments take part of our space?

lbtrucksReplied on April 3, 2025 at 4:30 PMAlso, I have a form (session notes) that I fill out for different clients. I have rules set for the pdf of the form to be sent via email to the client after I submit. Is there a way to create a rule to send the pdf to a specific trello board and list based on the client I am filling it out for. So if choose “Bob” as my client and fill out a form about Bob. I have jotform board named “Bob” with a list of “2025 session notes”. I want a new card under that list to be created and to include the pdf version of my Bob notes. Does that make sense?

Hi lbrtrucks,
To answer your question, yes, attachments uploaded through your forms will count toward your account’s Upload Space limit. This includes any files submitted by users, like images, PDFs, or documents.
We have a guide on Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits that you can check out.
To keep things organized and avoid confusion, I have moved and answered your other question on a new thread. You can go ahead and check that out here.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can help you with.
