    Good morning,

How do you choose where you can save a form completed on a app? Currently they are going to a personal OneDrive account when I would like then to be saved on a business account.

I would also like different forms saved in different folders.

Is it also possible for example, if we have different job folders on OneDrive, if a job number is selected in a form, that form is saved in that job folder?

I have one more issue I have a link on the app to a OneDrive folder however it not going to the specific folders just opening the main page of one drive.

    Hi James,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. To switch OneDrive account, you will need to delete the current action first and re-create it. Let me walk you through the steps:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top, then click on Integrations in the left panel.
    2. Now, click on OneDrive.Saving forms in specific one drive locations Image 1 Screenshot 40
    3. Next, hover your mouse on the current action and click the three-dot icon.
    4. Then, click on Delete Action in the dropdown and click on Yes, Discard button in the pop-up window.
    5. Now, click Add New Action.Saving forms in specific one drive locations Image 2 Screenshot 51
    6. Next, click on Use Another Account hyperlink below the dropdown. You will be routed to a pop-up window where you will need to login to your OneDrive account. Make sure you are logged out from the old OneDrive account, so it won't auto login, then follow the prompts.Saving forms in specific one drive locations Image 3 Screenshot 62
    7. Now, setup the action based on your requirements.
    8. Finally, click on Save button.

As for saving the form to a different folder, currently, the only way to pass submission data from your Jotform form to OneDrive is by selecting the OneDrive folder where you want submissions to be stored. You also have the option to enable the 'Create a subfolder for each submission' feature.

To avoid confusion, I moved your other question to a new thread and helped you with that here.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Hi Christine,

Thank you for the information, however I can still not choose a file location to save the forms jotform is creating a new location.

When you share a link on a app you are able to choose the location can this also happen when saving forms?

link below highlighted that I would like to change to:

    Hi James,

Thanks for the clarification, and I’ve reviewed everything you’re trying to achieve. At the moment, Jotform’s OneDrive integration doesn’t support dynamically changing the destination folder based on form inputs — so it’s not possible to assign a different folder for each submission depending on the selected job number or similar fields. The integration is limited to a single folder path per form.

That said, you still have some flexibility. When setting up the integration, you can manually choose the main folder name where submissions will be saved. So if you have multiple forms, each one can point to a different OneDrive folder. You can also enable the subfolder option and use a field like Job Number to name each submission’s subfolder within that main folder, which helps keep things organized.
