I am trying to connect my contact to my account in the form but it isn't working for me. I tried the method in the link below but was still unable to make them connect.

    Hi yalty_Logistics,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you're concerned about why Jotform is not finding the existing contact with the email address provided, even when using the "Create or Update Records" action. When using this integration, Jotform relies on Salesforce's standard matching rules to determine if a record already exists. The integration specifically uses the parameters to search for existing records:

    1. For Contacts and Leads: Full Name and Email

If Jotform does not find a match, it will attempt to create a new contact, which can lead to the duplicate entry error you encountered. Can you verify if the existing contact record in Salesforce has the exact same Email value as what is being submitted through Jotform? Can you take a screenshot of what’s happening and send it to us? We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

The issue is not creating or updating the contact the issue is getting the contact connected to the account that is created or updated so that they are related and I can find the contact by going to the account.. Thank you,

    Hi yalty_Logistics,

The Duplicates Detected error in your Jotform to Salesforce integration means Salesforce's duplicate rules are preventing the creation or update of a contact because the data matches existing records. Salesforce has built-in rules and admins can create custom ones to prevent duplicate records. You can check out this guide from Salesforce to fix the issue of Duplicate Accounts & contacts.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
