Hello, I'm trying to make use of the unique ID as a simple incremental numbering system with a custom prefix - ex. T-101, T-102, etc. The issue I'm having is the inability to connect this field to other integrations (especially Airtable) because it's generated after submission and there's no options available in workflows / integrations to map the data. I could just skip this on the form altogether and run scripts in Airtable to autonumber, but my company also wants the generated PDF that's easily customized straight from Jotform. Are there any other workarounds to get a functioning incremental numbering system that works with mapped fields? Thanks.

Hi David,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. A unique ID widget can't be mapped in Airtable. What you can do is add a short text field and create a condition to copy the field value of the unique field into the short text field. Let me show you how:
1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element menu on the left side of the page.
2. Under the Basic tab, scroll down the list and choose the Short Text field.
3. Then edit the field label.
4. Now let's create a condition. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.
5. Click on Conditions on the left side of the screen.
6. Under Conditions, click Add Condition and select Update/Calculate Field.
Check out the screencast below to see my results:
The field will have the same value as the unique field.
