Hello, I'm working on a form that uses the Multiple Choice Properties for one of the questions. I'd like to be able to apply some basic formatting to the options, like bolding a word and adding hard returns.
For example, one of the question options is:
Garden Care – includes planting and transplanting, soil preparation, pruning and trimming, fertilizationAnd I would like to display it like this:
Garden Care
– includes planting and transplanting, soil preparation, pruning and trimming, fertilization
Is there a way to do this?Page URL: https://form.jotform.com/250824468734161 -

Hi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can use the HTML tags in the multiple choice options to format them and bold them. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click on the Multiple Choice field and select the Gear icon to open the Multiple Choice Properties.
- Go to the Options tab.
- On the Options tab, use <strong> html tag before the word and end it with </strong> html tag.

Hi Kyle,
Unfortunately, this isn't working.
When I try to type the HTML tag, < gets converted to <.
If I try and copy and paste <strong></strong> into the box, it just shows it all as text. (see attached screenshot) -
