There is a section to set up an Invisible reCAPTCHA, do I just need to install this? Is it necessary to obtain a special API?

    Hello t_akiyama,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The invisible reCAPTCHA badge does not require the user to click on a checkbox, instead ,it is invoked directly when the user clicks on an existing button on your site or can be invoked via a JavaScript API call. The integration requires a JavaScript callback when reCAPTCHA verification is complete. By default only the most suspicious traffic will be prompted to solve a captcha. To alter this behavior edit your site security preference under advanced settings. You can check this guide for more information

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Is it correct that jotform can be used without obtaining a specific API?

    Hi t_akiyama,

If this is about the reCAPTCHA Yes you can use it on Jotform without specific APIs. If this is not about the reCAPTCHA share us exactly how you are looking to use Jotform and we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

Very helpful! As expected. Thank you jotform very useful.

Yesterday, I received a lot of emails from bots on my WordPress form, and as a countermeasure, I was thinking of replacing it with jotform and setting up a reCAPTCHA. invisible reCAPTCHA would allow normal users to use the form without any UI changes. If it is an invisible reCAPTCHA, it seems to be able to be used because it can be installed in the form without any UI change if it is a normal user.

    Hi t_akiyama,

Yes, let me show you how to use Google Invisible reCAPTCHA in your forms:

    1. In Form Builder, click no the Add Element button on the left and click on the Captcha element.
    2. Next, click on the Gear icon next to it to open its properties.
    3. Then, in the Captcha type on the right, select the reCaptcha option and Enable the Use Google Invisible reCaptcha option.

This choice is displayed every time, but this can lead to disengagement if the person is older. Is it possible to simply only show it to suspicious users, or if so, to only show it as a tick box? https://gyazo.com/3b316d50a50c22f2a59f0831bbc9fcff

    Hi t_akiyama,

I checked your form and see that the Google Captcha is now hidden, and will only appear when Google deems it so. Note that we have no control on when it will appear as its run based on Google Algorithms. Instead, you may consider removing the Captcha element on your form. Our forms come with a built-in anti-spam feature where a captcha will appear on form submission if a suspicious behavior is detected.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.

    Hi t_akiyama,

To clarify, Jotform does indeed come with a built-in anti-spam feature that functions automatically without requiring any specific settings from you. This feature is designed to help reduce unwanted submissions by detecting suspicious behavior. These methods collectively assist in minimizing spam and bot submissions effectively. If you have any further questions or need assistance with additional features, feel free to reach out.
