I have a JotForm Form set up to collect data. This for includes a signature field to collect a signature in person.
I am looking for a solution to use the JotForm Form to continue collecting the data, and push the information to a JotForm Sign so it can be emailed to request for a signature.

Hi KaeTel,
To my understanding, you want to prepopulate some data from your regular form to your Jotform Sign. Is that right? I've checked your account, and found that you have KaeTel Service Application and Customer Authority Form and the KaeTel Service Application Cutomer Authority Jotform Sign. Are you referring to these? Unfortunately, it's not possible to pass data from regular form to Jotform Sign. I suggest setting up a form prefill in your form. It will generate a link for specific user with prefilled data. Let me show you how to do this:
- In Form Builder, click on Publish on the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Prefill from the left side window.
- Select Form Prefill.
- Select the form where you'll get the data from.
- Match the fields that you want to prepopulate.
- Click on Save Settings.
- Click on Add a New Prefill.
- Select the submissions that you want to prepopulate. You can select 20 submissions at a time.
- Click on Create in the upper right corner of the page.
- You can share this with two options:
a. Click on the Three Dots icon of the generated link and click on Send Invitation to send it directly.
b. Or, you can click on Copy URL and manually send it to the recipient.
Here's the result:
- Full Name
- Address
- Short Text
- Long Text
- Fill in the Blank
- Phone
- Number
- Date Picker
- Time
- Dropdown
- Single Choice
- Multiple Choice
- Scale Rating
- Spinner
To learn more, you can check out our guide on What is Jotform Prefill and How Does it Works and How to Prefill Form Fields with Data From Another Form with Form Prefill.
If this is not what you want to happen, can you explain more about it?
After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

Hi Lorevie,
This doesnt look like it is the best solution for my use case.
I am look for a solution that will allow me to collect all the data in KaeTel Service Application and Customer Authority Form. Then send the form to the customer via email for review and signature.
A solution siliar to what you would get if I were to use DocuSign Product or similar.

Hi KaeTel,
Currently, it’s not possible to pass data from a form to a Jotform Sign document. However, I noticed you’ve included a signature field in your form that integrates with Jotform Sign, allowing customers to add their signature directly. In this case, my colleague's suggestion to use Jotform Prefill remains a great alternative.
And while the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know. Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
Reach out again if there's anything else we can help you with.
