Number Field: User's unable to add alpha characters?

    I have added a custom field to support both alpha and numeric characters. It is for a pension card number. Our patients are stating that they cannot add the Letter at the end of the number.


    Would appreciate any help to resolve this.

    Hi Macarthur,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form to test it, and I easily replicated the issue. There is an easy fix for this, we just need to use Short Text field and setup a Input Mask. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Add Element on the left side of the screen.

    3. Select the Short Text field and click on the Gear icon.
