"Hello,
Could I please get assistance with automatically authorizing recipients to edit the form I sent? I’d like them to be able to edit the form and sign their fields. If you could check my workflow, that would be great.
I hope to hear from you soon!"

Hi Jerico_San,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form, and it's currently set as Private, so your recipients will need to verify their email address before editing the form. To fix this, you can change your Form Status from Private to Public. It's really easy to do. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.
- Click on Private Form next to Share With Link, and then select Public Form in the window that opens.
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Jerico_San,
I went ahead and cleared your form cache as this typically fix minor form issues. Can you suggest them to try accessing the edit link again after clearing their browser cache? You can also try using another browser and device to see if the issue persists. If you're still having the same issue, we'll do a more in-depth investigation and work on finding a solution.
Reach out again if there’s anything else we can do for you.

Hi Jerico_San,
I understand the issue, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding while we’re looking into this.

Hi Jerico_San,
I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
- In Workflow Builder, select the email block and choose the Trash icon.
- Choose Confirm.
- Click the Add Element button on the left side and drag an Email block to your workflow.
- Select the Email block and choose the Email icon to add the Edit Link and customize the Email Content.
If you run into the same issue again, can you share with us a screen recording of what’s happening so we can try to replicate it on our end? You can share the video recording on any public sharing platform like Google Drive or Dropbox, or you can simply use Loom to record the video and share the video link with us.
Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.

Hi Ronald,
I tried it and it worked, thank you so much!My new problem now is that once the manager has submit the form, I added a conditional branch that when the manager filled the signature box designated to him the form should be sent to the subcontractor. however its not happening.
Here's a detailed guide on how I like the workflow to happen.- A person fills out the form until the compensation agreement part.
- All the information filled by the first person should not be editable but the manager should be able to see the information
- The form will be sent to the manager so he can fill the signature box and date box.
- After the manager fills out his designated fields, the form should be sent to the subcontractor but the workflow should have a condition that when the manager signs it that is the only time it will be sent to the subcontractor.
- All the information filled by the first person and manager should not be editable but the subcontractor should be able to see the information submitted by first person and manager
- Subcontractor receives the form that has been filled by the first person and signed by the manager, the subcontractor should be able to fill out their designated fields such as Name, Date, and Signature.
Kindly check the form and workflow that I am doing so you can have trial on your own.
Could you please help me how to achieve this workflow please?
Appreciate your help!
