    Hi,

I've been using this form for a few months with no issues and suddenly today, I can't type anything in the input field. It just disappears. I can get it to work on my phone but I've tried on several computers and it's not working. I can get it to work on Microsoft Edge but not Google Chrome. My Chrome is updated. Any ideas??

    Thanks!

Ok actually I can't get it to work anymore in Microsoft Edge either. I am trying on multiple computers. It mostly works on my phone (also google chrome) but it occasionally doesn't work and I have to keep typing until suddenly it keeps it. I don't understand what's going on.

    Hi Esther,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It looks like you’ve set up Update/Calculate conditions that automatically fill the cells when the table is filled. These conditions can create conflicts, preventing you from entering your own custom values in the table. Check out the screenshot of the conditions below:

If you’d like to manually enter values, you can either disable or remove those conditions to avoid overwriting your inputs. Let me show you how to disable the conditions:

    1. In the Form Builder, click on the Settings tab at the top of the page.
    2. Go to Conditions.
    3. Hover your mouse over the condition and click the Gear icon.
    4. Click on Disable.

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi,

I set up those conditions months ago and have had zero issues with them until today. They are looking at what is in the input table and sending that information to hidden text boxes so I don't see why it would mess up the input table. I need to do this because I use this form to prefill another form and you can't prefill from an input table directly, so I first send it to the text boxes and then prefill from there.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi Esther,

When I opened and tested your form, everything worked the way it was supposed to. Take a look at the screencast below to see my results: Input table not letting me type Image 1 Screenshot 20 I optimized the form's performance by clearing the cache. Can you go ahead and clear your browser's cache and try it again and let us know how it goes? If the same thing happens again, we'll look into it more to see if we can figure out what's going on.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

That is so strange. I have tried it on 5 different computers with 3 different browsers and currently the only place I can get it to work is on my phone. I also tried it on my home computer last night and it didn't work. I cleared the form cache again this morning, cleared my browser history and cookies, also tried incognito tab, still not working for me...

    Hi Esther,

I tested your form again using different browsers and I still can't replicate the issue. The input table allowed me to type and submit values without any problem. Take a look at the screencast below to see my results: Input table not letting me type Image 1 Screenshot 20 Since you’re still experiencing issues on multiple computers, this might be linked to device settings, network conditions, or specific browser configurations. To help, I’d recommend checking that your browsers are updated to their latest versions. Disabling browser extensions or trying the form on a different network could also help pinpoint the issue. Also, ask one of your colleagues or friends to test it on their end to help us narrow down the issue.

If these suggestions don’t solve the problem, share with us a screenshot and details—like error messages, console logs, or patterns you’ve noticed.  We’ve got a guide here that’ll show you how to do that.

Give it a try and let us know if you need any other help.
